First of all, I would like to introduce myself to all of the member of KUSAKABE Tatsuya Seminar Class. My name is WIJI ASTUTI. Just call me WIJI. I am a teacher at Wanadadi 1 Junior High School in Wanadadi District, Banjarnegara Regency in Central Java, Indonesia.
I got World Bank scholarship for my Master program and graduated from IDEC in 2012. At present I am doing a doctoral degree program in educational development department of Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation, Hiroshima University in Japan. My scholarship sponsor is the Indonesia endowment fund for education from the Ministry of Finance.
My research is about Diversification of Qur’anic Schools in Banjarnegara Regency in Central Java in Indonesia: Comparative Study between Semi-Urban Rural and Remote Rural Settings.
I am very pleased to be one of the members of Prof. Kusakabe’s student. By attending his seminar class, I learn many things and get much new knowledge that can improve my English capability, know how to make presentation and how to present my research progress in a proper way.
Kusakabe sensei, thank you for guiding me during my study from the beginning as my difficult time for me to construct a paper to be published in a journal until I graduate.
